Create, manage, and track contractual agreements through their full lifecycle

The Contracts module in InvestGlass enables you to create, manage, and track contractual agreements with your clients, partners, and vendors. This module provides full lifecycle management from contract creation through to renewal or termination.


What Is the Contracts Module?


Contracts in InvestGlass are digital records that represent formal agreements between your organisation and other parties. They can be linked to contacts, accounts, and portfolios, providing a complete view of your contractual obligations and entitlements. The module supports document attachment, e-signature integration, and automated renewal workflows.


How to Access Contracts


  1. Log in to your InvestGlass instance. 2. Navigate to the left-hand sidebar menu. 3. Click on Contracts to view and manage your agreements.

Creating a New Contract


  1. Navigate to Contracts from the sidebar. 2. Click + New Contract to create a new agreement. 3. Select the contract type and link it to the relevant contact or account. 4. Enter contract details: start date, end date, value, and terms. 5. Attach the contract document or generate one from a template. 6. Set renewal preferences and notification schedules. 7. Save the contract record.

Contract Lifecycle


Contracts typically progress through several stages: Draft (being prepared), Pending Approval (awaiting sign-off), Active (fully executed), Expiring (approaching end date), and Expired or Terminated. Automation rules can be configured to trigger actions at each stage transition.


Best Practices


Use contract templates for standardised agreements to ensure consistency. Set up automated reminders well in advance of expiry dates. Link contracts to the relevant account and contact records for complete relationship visibility.
