The Audiences module in InvestGlass enables you to segment your contacts and accounts into targeted groups for marketing campaigns, communications, and personalised experiences. This module is essential for delivering the right message to the right people at the right time.


What Are Audiences?


Audiences are dynamic or static groups of contacts that share common characteristics, behaviours, or attributes. They allow you to target specific segments of your client base for campaigns, communications, portal content, and automated workflows.


How to Access Audiences


  1. Log in to your InvestGlass instance. 2. Navigate to the left-hand sidebar menu. 3. Click on Audiences to view and manage your segments. 4. Alternatively, access through My Account > Company > Audiences.

Creating an Audience


  1. Navigate to Audiences from the sidebar. 2. Click + New Audience to create a new segment. 3. Name the audience and provide a description. 4. Choose between dynamic (rule-based) or static (manual) audience type. 5. For dynamic audiences, define the filter criteria using available contact fields. 6. For static audiences, manually add or import contacts. 7. Save the audience.

Use Cases


Audiences are commonly used for targeted email marketing campaigns, personalised client portal experiences, compliance communications to specific client segments, event invitations, and regulatory notifications to affected client groups.


Best Practices


Use dynamic audiences wherever possible to ensure segments remain current. Name audiences clearly to indicate their purpose and criteria. Review audience membership regularly to ensure accuracy, particularly for compliance-related communications.
