Accounts
Manage organisational entities, companies, and business accounts within your CRM
The Accounts module in InvestGlass provides a centralised hub for managing all organisational entities such as companies, institutions, and business accounts within your CRM. Built on the InvestGlass Swiss sovereign cloud, this module ensures that all account data remains securely hosted in Switzerland whilst delivering enterprise-grade relationship management capabilities.
What Is the Accounts Module?
Accounts represent the organisations, companies, or institutional entities that your business interacts with. Unlike individual contacts, accounts are typically legal entities, corporate clients, or partner organisations. The Accounts module allows you to store company information, link related contacts, track interactions, and manage the full lifecycle of your business relationships.
InvestGlass uses accounts as a foundational data object, meaning other modules such as Contacts, Contracts, Portfolios, and Invoices can all be linked back to a specific account for complete visibility.

- Log in to your InvestGlass instance.
2. Navigate to the left-hand sidebar menu.

Best Practices
Maintain consistent naming conventions for accounts to avoid duplicates. Use the Merge Records feature if duplicate accounts are identified. Regularly review account ownership to ensure active relationship management, and leverage custom fields to capture industry-specific data points that support your compliance and reporting needs.
Related Modules
Accounts work closely with Contacts, Contracts, Pipelines, Invoices, and Reporting. Once your accounts are properly configured, you can leverage automation rules to trigger workflows based on account status changes.
