The Approvers module in InvestGlass allows you to define and manage the individuals or groups responsible for reviewing and authorising requests within your approval workflows. This module ensures that the right people are involved in critical decision-making processes.
What Are Approvers?
Approvers are designated users or groups of users who have the authority to approve, reject, or escalate requests that are routed through your approval rules. They can be configured as individuals, teams, or hierarchical groups depending on your organisational structure.
How to Access Approvers
- Log in to your InvestGlass instance.
2. Navigate to the left-hand sidebar menu.
3. Click on Approvers to manage approver groups.
4. Alternatively, access through My Account > Company > Approvers Group.

Creating an Approver Group
- Navigate to Approvers from the sidebar.
2. Click + New Group to create a new approver group.
3. Name the group (e.g., "Compliance Team", "Senior Management").
4. Add members to the group by selecting from your team directory.
5. Define the approval logic: any member, all members, or majority.
6. Set delegation rules for when members are unavailable.
7. Save the group.
Best Practices
Create approver groups that align with your organisational structure and compliance requirements. Ensure each group has sufficient members to avoid bottlenecks. Configure delegation rules to maintain workflow continuity during holidays or absences.
