API Connectors

The API Connectors module in InvestGlass allows you to integrate your CRM with external systems, third-party services, and core banking platforms through secure API connections. This module is essential for organisations that need to synchronise data between InvestGlass and other business-critical applications whilst maintaining Swiss data sovereignty.

What Are API Connectors?

API Connectors are pre-built or custom integration points that enable InvestGlass to communicate with external systems. They facilitate bi-directional data flow, allowing you to push data from InvestGlass to external platforms and pull data from external sources into your CRM. All connections are encrypted and managed within the Swiss sovereign infrastructure.

How to Access API Connectors

Log in to your InvestGlass instance. 2. Navigate to the left-hand sidebar menu. 3. Click on API Connectors to view existing integrations. 4. Alternatively, access through My Account > Company > API.

Creating a New API Connector

Navigate to API Connectors from the sidebar. 2. Click + New Connector to begin setup. 3. Choose from pre-built connectors or select Custom API. 4. Enter the API endpoint URL and authentication credentials. 5. Configure data mapping between external fields and InvestGlass fields. 6. Set synchronisation frequency (real-time, scheduled, or manual). 7. Test the connection and verify data flow. 8. Activate the connector.

Available Pre-built Connectors

InvestGlass offers pre-built connectors for identity verification services (such as Sumsub and BasisID), e-signature platforms (such as Signatys), banking core systems, market data providers, and communication tools. Additional connectors can be requested through the InvestGlass support team.

Best Practices

Always test API connectors in a staging environment before production deployment. Monitor API usage through the Audit Trail and set up alerts for connection failures. Use webhook endpoints for real-time data synchronisation rather than polling where possible.
