Automation Examples

Automation helps to automate basic tasks or recurring tasks. We will explain here some common tasks of surveillance.

Birthday Reminder

1. Create tags and tag your clients
2. Go to Automation and create a new automation
3. Step 1 set the automation name and API Name select Contact
4. Step 2 Select on date/time
   EXECUTE 15 / days / befofre / "Date of birth"
   If the field date of birth does not exist, go to My Account Company and in custom fields create a Contact field called Date of birth.
   Recurrence Every Year
   Tag select a client segment by adding here a tag then click on add. You will see all the selected contacts.
5. Step 3 set to All Fields
6. Step 4 click on Send email
7. Step 5 Select an employee
8. Type in a message description then click Save.

Identification card expiration reminder

1. Create tags and tag your clients
2. Go to Automation and create a new automation
3. Step 1 set the automation name and API Name select Contact
4. Step 2 Select on date/time
   EXECUTE 15 / days / befofre / "ID experation date"
   If the field date of birth does not exist, go to My Account Company and in custom fields create a Contact field called the ID expiration date.
   Recurrence Every Year
   Tag select a client segment by adding here a tag then click on add. You will see all the selected contacts.
5. Step 3 set to All Fields
6. Step 4 click on Send email
7. Step 5 Select an employee
8. Type in a message description then click Save.

Create a folder

1. Go to Automation and create a new automation
2. Step 1 set the automation name and API Name select Contact or Account
3. Step 2 Select on a record action and click "edit" or "create or edit"
4. Step 3 set to All Fields or to specific conditions
5. Step 4 click on Create a folder
6. Step 5 Name the folder
7. Save
