asks can be used to remind your team and yourself when something needs to be done. You will find the logo on the CRM, Opportunity page, and Leads. Simply click on the flame icon in the last right column (per default).

Setting the details of a task
Once you click on the "flame" in order to create a task, a pop-up window will open to allow you to fill in the relevant information:

The object of the task, be it Account, Contact, Portfolio, or Security / Product.
The record name
A title for the task
A due date and time
A description of the task
Its status
Its priority (low, medium, high)
Set a reminder date and time
The option to save it in your calendar
The option to flag yourself
The assigned person (be it yourself)

When you assign a task to another colleague, then the task will appear in his calendar. Your colleague will receive a notification with task details.

You can also use the favorites to trigger a task creation via "Create a new task".

In order to mark a task as complete as well as develop a contact report please follow My Account – Company and then click on the relevant contact. You can also access it by clicking on the notification tab.

Task Widget
In order to activate the task widget on your app page, please follow My Account – Company – Portal / Apps.

There, you can find the Tasks in InvestGlass apps and select edit in the three dots button on the right of the widget. This will open a new page where you will be able to modify this widget.

At the bottom of the page, under Visible for Employees in Apps, you will be able to choose which team or members are allowed to see the widget on their app page by selecting the relevant toggles.

Click save, which will refresh the page applying your new selection.

Task overview on objects
Tasks are showcased on the task overview tab, on the relevant user's notifications, and on the specific record targeted by the task.

On a contact, account, relation, or portfolio, tasks are displayed in the task overview box. There, as in the navigation menu task overview, you can filter tasks, flag them for yourself, and mark them as completed.
