Navigation menu

One of the first things you may want to do when setting up your CRM is to personalize it to your needs and your company's colors. Everything on the InvestGlass portal is customizable, ranging from what every window portrays to which windows are shown in the navigation menu.

This article focuses on changing the navigation and favorites menu.

Navigation Menu

Following My Account – Company – Portal / Apps, select Navigation Menu. This will allow you to personalize the main tabs of your company portal. The per default tabs are:

Audit Trail (if applicable)
Contacts overview
Contact Reports, and
Search Bar

However, all tabs order can be changed and each tab removed. Additionally, tabs can be added such as:

Relations Overview
Tasks, and
Approval Requests

Below these potential modifications, you can modify your client portal by adding or removing visible tabs such as:

Contact my representative

Groups: By creating groups of members, you can personalize the navigation menu and favourites per group.


Similar to the navigation menu, selecting the Favorites allows you to choose the quick links available in the portal. The favorites are the links that appear when clicking on the three dots in the top right corner. Therefore, you are available, once again, to remove, add and modify the order of each of the available favorite:

New Contact Report
New Task
New Transaction
New Contact
New Account
Need Help
New Relation, and
New Contracts

Navigation Item Name

If you wish to change the name of the shortcuts - you can simply from the Settings - Display page change the name. This feature is very helpful if you are looking to build a portal in an other language than "English".Click save to apply the changes.
