You can create call report mostly from everywhere. 

From a portfolio, click on Actions to create a call report. 

From a portfolio Transactions History, click on the three dots at the end of the line to create a call report. 

From Call Report main page. 

From the client CRM page.

A Call Report ID will generated automatically by InvestGlass to facilite tracking. Please be aware that Call Report can be changed however if you delete a contact call report will be archived and not deleted for security reasons.
